a tale of two jacksons

This is Jackson... NOT liking Baby Yogurt. Last night.

Tonight, however? This is Jackson after enjoying some tasty Rice Cereal, while Daddy and Riley are away at music class. Same boy? You decide?

Story Time!

B here. I must say I'm rather pleased that Riley loves this story so much. I had this exact Little Golden book when I was growing up and I remember reading it all the time. It's called "The Monster at the end of this book" and it stars Lovable Furry old Grover.

We run out of video right near the end of the story, because Riley got distracted half way through. But listen to how well she "reads" along!

I love my camera, and the pictures it takes...

Sleepy Morning...

Smiling Jack

This is what happens when you shoot with natural light, and no flash. A soft, beautiful picture of a calm little boy.

This one? Across the room and using the flash. See the difference? I love my camera.

Smiley Riley

We made Muffins for breakfast saturday. A welcome break from the Pancakes we seem to have at least once a weekend. I had been taking the above pictures of Jackson in the chair cause the light looked nice, and my girl started hamming it up for the camera.

Valentine's Cookie

For some reason last night, Riley wanted to ride her jumpy horse, which she hardly ever did. Maybe they have one at Daycare that she rides. Anyhow, as you can see, she had a bit of wild ride. Hair was everywhere!

Have I mentioned I love my camera and the pictures it takes?

Baptism weekend pics

Sorry it's taken so long, but with the whole house sick, blogging has taken a back seat.

These are pics from Jackson's Baptism weekend, which was a few days after Grandma Donna's birthday, and a few days before Aunt Darlyn's birthday.

Family Pic!

Grandma Donna and the kids. Riley is NOT picking her nose.

As you can see, Aunt Darlyn got an early present. Jackson puke!

We've read this book to her so many times by now...

BIG JACKSON SMILES for Grandma!
