Story worth a brief blog...
So earlier this week, Riley was in the bathroom washing up in the tub before bedtime. She looked at her chest, and then very enthusiastically says to me: "Daddy, I have tiny nipples!" Then she holds her arms out in front of her and says, "When you get older, they get bigger, and bigger, and BIGGER!"
I chuckled and said, "Well, hopefully not THAT big." But I don't think she got my joke.
Mega "I'm sorry it's been months since I updated post"
OK... I admit it, I've been HORRIBLE about updating this blog. Forgive me.
This mega picture post has: Photo Day at Riley's Ballet Class. (She's getting much better and seems to enjoy it.) Pumpkin Patch when the family came down for Jackson's Birthday. Jackson's 2nd Birthday Riley's Big Girl Haircut (to keep her from chewing on her hair) Downtown Lee's Summit's Octoberfest (takes place in September) Our trip to the Renaissance Festival (Huzzah!)
I also had photos from our trip to see the Imagination Movers LIVE, but Photobucket told me they violated copywright. However, those of you on Facebook can see them in my albums there.
And as always, if I'm bad at updating the blog, just go straight to photobucket account. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v86/lucandor/
Some randoms from around the house. As you can see, we converted Jackson's crib into a big boy bed. Unfortunately, this means that when he wakes up at 5:30, he gets up and walks into our room instead of babbling in his crib for 45 minutes.
Riley has started dance classes. she usually is shy for the first few minutes, and then joins in. As you can see, Jack likes to dance like his big sister.
OK, once again, since I can't figure out why Photobucket puts photos in reverse order, these are the pics from Grandma B's visit. they include a trip to SantiCaliGone Days and a trip to the mall. There are also some closeups of us that Riley took.
Once again, we journeyed to Ren Fest with a bunch of people from the TV stations. You see, TV station people get in free with their ID badge or business card. Unfortunately, during my dismissal, I threw my box of cards away. Fortunately, I still have about 10 of them. So, I guess we're getting into Ren Fest for free for the next few years.
BTW, some of these thumbnails are sideways, but they should be upright when you view them.
We shot this one the morning of the first Husker Game of the season. Yesterday was Nebraska's unexpected loss to Virginia Tech. Oh well, at least he's being raised a Husker. Photo Sharing - Video Sharing - Photo Printing
OK, so these are actually in backwards order. the stuff with Choo Choo Soul (Riley in the Pink/White) are from Saturday. Blues and Jazz fest was the previous night in downtown LS.
we were lucky enough to rock out and dance with the Nolan boys both nights. I think Riley may have a boyfriend in Connor.
Choo Choo Soul is a musical/R&B act that sings songs on Disney Channel. Jackson just sits and stares at the tv when it's on. As you can see, we were able to meet "DC" after the show, and Riley and Jackson both got high fives at one point.
Regarding the bunches of crazy faces near the end of this post? the kids started making funny faces, and it got contagious. Mom and Dad got into the act too. enjoy!
