On Riley's "actual" birthday

We had a small cake and Ice cream party for Riley on her actual birthday. She's a big girl now, at 3 years old. Yikes.














for about a week or so, we were telling her that when you turn 3, the Sippy cup fairy comes to your house and takes all your sippys and gives them to other little boys and girls. "You're 3 and drink out of a big girl cup, don't you?" I think in the 2 weeks since we did this, she's asked for a sippy once. And that was the next day.

After we placed the bag on the deck at bedtime, I brought it in and put a dollar in the bottom. "Money Daddy!"

BOOM!

Have I mentioned I love my camera.

Note, shots where taken with my e-500 on the fireworks setting, which used a 4 second exposure, and I used my tripod.

We had snuck waaay down near the front and had great seats for the game. at one point, a Royals player hit a foul ball down the third base line and the Matt Holliday for the Rockies threw it to a Rockies fan, who gave it to Riley.
