I'm a terrible father

The girls and I went out to get a bite to eat tonight, after getting two new Razr Phones. (sweet!)

Anyhow, Jodie was parking the van and I went in ahead of her with Riley. As I was trying to snap Riley into the high chair, I pinched her tummy in the clasp of the seat belt, and made her eyes well up in tears and she WAILED for about 30 seconds.

Now she has a small bruise on her tummy.

I'm a terrible, terrible father. :(

Know what this picture means?

It means mommy and daddy have to drop the crib mattress down now.  Since she's learned she can roll in the crib. 
Oh, and by the way, Riley officially can make the MAMA sound.  I don't know if she knows it applies to Jodie, but somewhere
I think that she knows DADA means me.

OK, it's official...

Our baby says words on purpose. Just before she's 9 months old.

She now waves on command, albieit a few seconds later.
She'll then say "Hiiiiiiii."

and this morning, she said "Bye." (we weren't leaving yet, but she said it.)

My baby talks. I bet she gets that from me.
