Update finally!

Pictures from last weekend's party in Omaha will be posted this weekend. Tuesday was going to be my day to do that, but I was busy being sick.

Riley's vocabulary continues to grow at an incredible rate. she's picking up on words we only mention once. (unfortunately, I let a "dammit" slip two weeks ago). She's also doing fairly well counting. But she gets distracted easily and we don't know how far she can count.

Day care has been working her slowly into getting ready to be in the 2-3 year old room. That makes Riley happy. Sitting at the table last night, Jodie said that Riley had been in the room with the Big kids. Riley looked at me and said "Eva" (sounded like ay-bah) and "Owen." Eva and Owen are two kids she used to play with, who've already made the move. I'm amazed she remembers their names, but I guess she used to see them 8 hours a day.

Riley continues to be a Daddy's girl. Most days I have to carry her down to the van in order to get her and jodie out the door. two weeks ago, I pointed out that there were bunnies on the lawn across the street. Now every morning we have to look for bunnies or squirrels. She usually sees them before I do. I'm not sure if that means that she's got better eyes, or mine are that bad.

Deuce continues to grow. Still breech at this point, but Docs aren't concerned yet. We're at 23.5 weeks now. Still not very close to a name, but there's a list of about 7 names we like. every once in a while we'll add a new name to the running. Dexter has officially been removed. I got outvoted by the woman who's growing the boy in her uterus.

oh and on a completely unrelated note...
Happy Birthday Jacque!
You're rockin' that 29 years old!
Note to readers: Jacque actually IS turning 29 on Sunday. Not one of those fake "29 again birthdays."
I love you Buttercup. You're my favorite work wife.
