More Fun with Jackson

See, I told you once Jack got more active I'd post more of him.

Riley is crying in the background because she just woke up from the table nap, and we think her arms had fallen asleep.

Nap Time.

Riley said earlier she was tired, but she didn't want to take a nap...

Video update

Jack has been smiling and cooing for the past week or so, but I haven't been able to get it on camera. These are our attempts.

Also, on the last one of Jack in the bath, my camera was freaking out a bit. Normally, I wouldn't post video that has "noise" all over the image, but Jack is proving he loves bath time as much as his big sister does.

Jackson's stage debut!

Here are a couple of snaps from Jack's debut as Jesus. He opened to rave reviews. The pressure didn't seem to bother him much. He slept through the first performance, and wiggled just a little during the second. But never cried, never fussed.

On the way out, I overheard one lady talk to another new mother. Something to the effect of, "Oh, I love him! HE should have been Jesus." and the mom replied, "Yeah, I wondered why they didn't call me." At least that what I think new mom said.

I kind of wanted to turn around and ask if she thought her ugly kid could have done any better than two flawless performances. I dunno. Maybe her baby actually performs miracles. She just jealous of Jack's fame. He got billing in the program over all the kids in the chorus, right below all the older kids that had speaking parts.

I'm sure that other baby could have done WAAAY better.

Fun from around the house

These are from a few days ago, I think when Riley had Pink Eye. The Play-Doh Witch was built by me... and I'm rather proud of it. Riley requested it be a witch.

After that, we took a warm bath together. I kept my shorts on, in case you're wondering if I took that night to traumatize the kid. I'm sure I'll have plenty of chances in the future. We had a lot of fun squirting each other with rubber ducks.
