Paint, paint, and paint again.

Day one of painting is over. We painted the room two colors, light, LIGHT pink on top, and a dark red on the bottom. We primed the bottom first (coat one) then did two coats of pink on top, (2, 3) and then finished the day with 3, count em THREE coats of red on the bottom. (4, 5, 6).

SIX FREAKING COATS OF PAINT.

If I never see another roller again, it will be to soon. And tomorrow we still have to do the glazing on the bottom. And then at some point, border.

And then at some point, assemble the dang crib. Of course, the box itself says the crib is white. The label says it's Natural. We're hoping for the latter.

Side note from yesterday... I said Gin and Tonic here I come... Ended up being cheap Miller light drafts at happy hour. And then a really bland supper with Jodie. God, why am I not in bed? Dang Blog. Taking all my free time.
