A rant about our President

Sorry about the non-baby news, but I'm a little fired up this morning.

http://www.crooksandliars.com/

Video is on the internet of a video teleconference between several homeland security people, FEMA fraud Michael Brown, and the president. In the video, Bush is told that (and I'm paraphrasing) officials were concerned about how good of a facility the SuperDome is for housing people and there was concern about whether the roof can even withstand a Category 5 Hurricane.

A second person, I believe from the Army Corps of engineers, said that there was concern about the levees holding up and there's no telling what will happen when the water blows in, and there was concern that the levees might not do their job.

3 Days later, Bush said there was no way the tragedy in Nawlins could have been predicted. Nobody could have anticipated what had happened.

Um, you're a liar and you're not owning up to the truth. They told you that exact thing. Let me give a you a few examples of other mis-information, just off the top of my head.

1. There were no WMDs in Iraq.

2. Iraq has very few connections to Al Qaeda

3. You were told the levees could break.

4. Cheney was drunk when he shot that old guy.

Now, I'm not that much of a left winger to go all "Impeach him" because it won't happen in a GOP controlled government. Besides, the brainwashed public of the USA believes that if our President listens to his heart, and more importantly his God, that even if he makes bad decisions, he's still doing what he feels is right in his heart, and by his God. Regardless of how idiotic this man is, our people still stand beside him... stubborn, just like President Liar Liar pants on fire.

Let me tell you somebody else to did what he thought was right, and the masses of his country believed in what he was doing... Adolf Hitler.

I miss Clinton.

  • in fact, what Clinton did in the Oval Office isn't really considered appropos in most other countries. The PM of France, Chirac, had both his mistress and his wife at his funeral. They sat together. Most countries consider their officials in power to be 'apart' and while not to be excused for excercising tact and good taste, are generally given a free pass on some things. You cant really be a moral and effective politician at the same time. Ethical, maybe, but not moral. Someone ALWAYS loses.
