Grandma Donna's House for STP

My thoughtful sister Darlyn got Jodie and I, and herself, tickets to see one of my all time favorite bands, Stone Temple Pilots, in Lincoln. This show was in fact 4 days after Jodie and I saw Metallica in KC. So, two of my all-time favorite bands in 4 days. Plus the fact that I've seen Foo Fighters twice this year, along with Bon Jovi, and an upcoming AC/DC show... it's been a good year musically for Brian.

Anyhow, Gma Donna babysat while we were at the show. The following pics were taken the next day.

This was my old car play mat. Mom found it in a box in the garage. Memories!

Darlyn is a big fan of jack-o-lanterns, and made one with Riley.

I've got to say, the following pics of Riley thrill me a bit. When I was her age, I ran up and down this exact same hallway when MY grandparents lived there. Papa would time my runs. Now Riley is enjoying the run too.
